I enjoy working with individuals and couples looking to overcome personal challenges, such as marital issues, loss, and grief, depression, anger, family conflict, relationship issues, major life transition challenges, or spirituality issues. My approach is solution-focused counseling because it is result-oriented. I also use person-centered or CBT (or an integrative approach) methods depending on the needs of the client. I've spent nearly two decades in ministry-helping kids, teens, adults, parents, groups, and families navigate their unique situations, and I have been teaching counseling at the graduate level since 2016. I am currently a Military Family Life Counselor, with over 7 years of military service. I have traveled the world and embrace all peoples, cultures, and beliefs. I use a holistic, non-judgment, and multicultural approach to counseling. I believe in working with clients' strengths and support systems to enable them to meet their goals and I am here to journey with you and to help you achieve your counseling goals if you let me.
