You will find me very direct and down to earth. More than most. You will also find me intuitive and empathetic. Again, more than most. You may bring up the latest method which may cause me to laugh, not because it's wrong, but because "if you're far enough behind the times: you're out in front!"
I have been known to say that I believe in marriage, or that I believe in love, and I do. What I believe is that either of these can be the bedrock on which to build a life filled with courage and compassion, where love and marriage, and true intimacy may strengthen us in our times of weakness and where a hand may reach out to hold, sometimes, in the dark night of existential uncertainty.
My methods include CBT, DBT, EFT, but always tempered with the unconditional positive regard of person centered approaches. Far more than that I feel things very deeply and will be there for you when you need me.
