I am passionate about relationships and use many different approaches with couples, depending on what they need and the nature of your issues. I use an Emotionally-Focused approach to help couples understand the deeper meanings and attempts to connect. I use am Internal Family Systems for Couples approach to help couples in destructive or toxic patterns understand and untangle the parts of themselves that get stuck in conflict. I use Gottman principles for communicating and relating to enhance intimacy and build (or rebuild) trust. I also use attachment-focused interventions to build and repair broken attachments between couples or within one or both partners, so that connection and intimacy can happy.
Whatever the presenting issue is, I understand that your primary goal is to connect with one another, understand and be understood, and enjoy one another.
