I have been a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist for almost 30 years (licensed in California and Arizona). I work with adult Couple's and Individuals and see each client as an individual and therefore approach each client's issues with an individualized approach. My "Orientation" is Cognitive/Behavioral: The way we think about things/ our attitude(s) toward things impact the way we behave and feel about them. We can't change what has happened in the past, but we can change the way it is impacting us. I have worked with (and watched) couples that were ready to call it quits, and through the use of therapy that enabled them to explore, be heard, and develop new healthier coping mechanisms, they were able to reconnect and experience their relationship as stronger and healthier than it has ever been.

Much of my work is Solution Focused,Brief Therapy.,focusing on the current situation and finding solutions for what is going on NOW. (I also do EMDR and HYPNOTHERAPY).
You cannot change what has already happened, but you CAN change how these events impact you in the present moment, and as a result, change future circumstances. My goal is to help clients get 'unstuck' and develop skills to create a happier life... Shift the way you think and behavior follows.
