I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with a specialty in Addiction Treatment. I remain in the direct service of in-patient drug treatment by providing therapy to all levels of care (LOC) from detox to IOP. My knowledge in this field allows me to provide relevant therapy for those affected by someone else’s chemical addiction as well as those with non-chemical addictions. I also do teletherapy, via online sessions.
- I work actively with my clients providing different analogies to assist in the deconstruction of obstacles to manageable portions. One fact stands above all that I learned in both graduate programs-it is not the model or methods I use with client that evoke a successful outcome. It is my lack of judgment about the issues of my clients since healing cannot take place in an atmosphere of judgment.
