HI, I am Michelle and my approach to marriage is this, although we all are different and have different needs and live in different circimstances, relationships have the same basic needs and foundations to be successful.
We need to listen to one another, remember what it was about the other that attracted us and made us believe that the relationship would be better than the last or "the one". Do you communicate with your partner? Do you discuss finances, even if one of you is the primary person who oversees the bills? What do you do each and every day to ensure your partner knows you love them? There is of course, so much more, but this is about looking at ourselves and seeing what changes we can make in our behavior, attitude, trust, and confidence.
Bottom line, we can make changes to our relationship to the other person and ourselves, but we can't change another person.
