I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Dallas,Texas with 7 years of experience practicing. I work with clients who are dealing with a wide range of concerns including Depression, Anxiety/Panic, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, family of origin concerns & exploration, & many other psychological & behavioral challenges. I have published research & professional articles which focus on women who have experienced physical & emotional abuse or coercive control from an intimate partner, & Codependency.
My counseling style is warm and accepting. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. Although a clinical diagnosis can provide a framework for an individual's symptomatology, every person is unique and as such I will tailor your treatment and support based on your specific needs.
My clinical perspective is psychodynamic based. I examine underlying factors & events which influence current behavior & personality.My clinical approach is integrative & evidence based utilizing cognitive-behavioral, narrative, psychodynamic, & attachment/family systems techniques.
