I am a Marriage Friendly Therapist- this means that when people come to me to work on counseling, I work with them towards preserving their marriage first. I use an Imago Theory as the base; that is I have found that people get triggered by their spouses at an unconscious level related to unresolved childhood wounds. I also educate based on the findings of John Gottman about behaviors that support a marriage and behaviors that do not. I have successfully worked with both monogamous and polyamorous couples in identifying relationship values and rules that work for them. I am also trained in Family Constellation Healing and Peruvian and Hawaiian traditional healing. These trainings help me to see hidden dynamics that are happening such as inherited ancestral programs, unresolved childhood wounds, and even disharmonious, negatives energies that may need to be removed. (And I have the skills to remove them).
