As humans, we all want and need the same basic things in life: to love and to be loved, to experience joy and connection, and to live a life with purpose and meaning. We are wired for connection and our relationships can be our most valuable resource. This is why it can be so painful when we feel isolated or disconnected from the people we love most. I specialize in helping people overcome barriers to connection such as communication problems, emotional disconnection, sexual difficulties, and infidelity/betrayal recovery. I also specialize in trauma recovery, faith crises/transitions, and identity exploration.
In relationship therapy, I can help you learn the tools you need to shift from old conflict patterns to more effective strategies for creating the relationship you desire. I address relationships from a holistic systemic perspective, considering each individual as well as the dynamic you create together. My work is informed by extensive research with training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, systems theories, EMDR, and Gottman Level II. As an advocate for inclusivity, I am sex positive, kink positive, LGBTQ and poly affirming.
