I believe that every individual has a deep need for love and belonging and it is through the development of close, caring relationships that one can most effectively fulfill other life needs, build resilience, and achieve happiness.
Do you struggle to communicate your needs in your relationships? Or often find yourself compromising your needs to sustain the relationship? The health of one’s relationships has a direct correlation to an individual’s self-confidence, esteem, motivation, success, growth, and, ultimately, happiness.
I view relationships in two distinct dimensions: relationship with self, and relationship with others. And it is the former that is the starting point for success with the latter. I work with individuals, couples, families, and children toward building secure balanced relationships. I use myriad structured and experiential counselling modalities, evidenced by research and I strongly regard the quality of the client–therapist relationship as the prime determinant of the outcome of the therapeutic process. I am open to and have worked with, all sexual orientations and genders.
