Relationships can be the most challenging, yet most rewarding aspect of life. When we feel aligned, our relationships provide us a source of support, security, inspiration, and cohesive partnership. When our relationships are stressed, they not only cause obvious tension and conflict, but they can perpetuate vicious cycles of miscommunication, insecurity, irritability, resentment, distrust, and hopelessness.
In my practice, I work with couples to both identify underlying causes of conflict or discontent and to provide concrete, tangible strategies to improve a sense of connection.
Each individual brings a mosaic of previous life experience and relationships which becomes even more complex in our partnerships though our respective beliefs, needs, expectations and gifts.
Together with the couple, we explore what is inhibiting or impeding connection and identify customized ways to better repair from conflict, communicate effectively, and facilitate intimacy in meaningful ways.
