I am licensed by the state of Michigan in Psychology and registered with Yoga Alliance as a yoga teacher. My passion is to help you find the root of your pain, to bring healing. I specialize in trauma & abuse, LGBTQIA concerns, and non-monogamous relationships. I have extensive experience in working with individuals who were raised in religious cults. I also have treated clients with depression, anxiety, infertility, adoption related issues, substance abuse and addiction recovery, grief/loss, relationship concerns, including polyamorous and non-traditional relationships. I also enjoy using my yoga teacher training and personal yoga practice experience into my work. I have an eclectic approach to therapy pulling in foundations from: Existential therapy which focuses on having purpose and meaning in your life with a present and future focus, Humanistic model of therapy focuses on the whole person and their potential, what motivates them and their needs with a look at the here-and-now and how that relates to their past, and a spiritual model which incorporates a person(s) faith, spirituality and/or higher power(s) into their healing process. I also use muscle testing with energy work.
