My approach to premarital and/or marital therapy is at the core spiritual and faith-based. Several questions arise regarding one’s value system, one’ belief system, socialization, cultural exposure which serve to shape the lens by which couples view the world. In other words, I place considerable emphasis on individual and couple worldview discovery. Therapeutically, this is critical to achiveing congruence in a marriage. Couples can achieve significantly enhanced marital satifaction when they discover the stress factors that are creating distress and conflict in their marital relationship. I also have assisted numerous couples over the years improve marital satisfaction in every facet of their marriage including physical and emotional intimacy, improving their effective communication, realtionship coaching, life transition coaching, conflict resolution skills, parenting and finacial management skills. My unique integrated/eclectic approach includes, but is not limited to, CBT, DBT, SFBT, REBT, MBCT and IFS. My communication style is confidential, warm, caring, ethical, empathetic, practical, purpose-driven, growth-oriented and life changing. As an "eclectic clinician" I provide change-oriented, adaptable & cost-effective interventions for EVERY client.
