As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, it gives Dr. Hamlin-Glover pleasure to provide quality and excellent clinical services in helping couples, families and individuals overcome an array of challenges, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, life skills, grief, trauma, on the job difficulties, and inability to problem-solve effectively and achieve their personal goals within a short period of time. She works with individuals, couples, families, and businesses looking to create an environment that shifts from discord to harmony, moving from dysfunction to enjoying and respecting relationships with one another.
Dr. Hamlin-Glover is committed to developing and restoring relationships using evidence based, systemic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy (CBT/CBFT) and The Gottman Model (7 P's for Making Marriage Work). She takes a special interest in military families and veterans as she has extensive research and work experience with this population and is also an active duty military spouse. Dr. Hamlin-Glover is also an advocate for Faith-Based organizations taking the lead on educating urban communities on mental health illnesses. She encourages individuals to be attentive to their minds, bodies, interpersonal and spiritual relationships (God, family, spouse, and family) as this is significant to a healthy and better “You”.
