  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Meet Chris, a compassionate and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. He earned his Clinical Mental Health degree from Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, PA, and specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges.

Before becoming a counselor, Chris served as a nonprofit specialist around the world, which gave him a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences. He also has a theological background for clients seeking a faith-based approach.

Chris primarily works with clients ages 16 and older, while also seeing a limited number of younger individuals. He treats a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family issues, adjustment challenges, and marital difficulties.

His approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), focusing on how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. He integrates CBT with other approaches—such as person-centered and family systems—to create personalized, effective treatment plans.

Outside of his work, Chris enjoys traveling with his family and has visited over 75 countries. He also values time outdoors, often walking or kayaking when the weather allows.

Chris is dedicated to helping clients grow, heal, and move forward in a supportive and welcoming environment.
