All of my therapy, teaching and supervision focuses on individual health within a relational/familial context. In my marital therapy, I am practical and skills-based in my initial therapy strategies as I play an active role in helping couples and stop the damage and begin to constructively solve conflicts and grow in compassion and understanding for one another. When the ground work is laid, therapy usually shifts to building intimacy including its emotional, social, familial, sexual and spiritual components which facilitate individual as well as relational healing.
