My purpose in working with people is to develop them as individuals and as partners in their romantic and family relationships. This takes self-reflection and new cognitive and emotional skills. I meet with couples in provate sesssions and I also offer a 4-session course for couples. The skills to grow a romantic relationship over a lifetime are different than what it takes to start a relationship.
I believe in romantic partnership because it forces both partners to learn about themselves and deal with the past as well as learn true intimacy in the present. I can think of no better way to evolve your personality than to commit to growing in your marriage. Every part of your life will grow out of the learning that can take place in your marriage!
