I believe we are influenced, not defined, by our relationships and pasts. It is important to understand that link before we are able to successfully change our behaviors. I also believe the relationship between therapist and client is an important part of healing and change. It is an honor to be a therapist and I am fortunate to walk through life with my clients.
My specialties are in couple's issues, anxiety and depression, grief and loss (particularly partner, parent, or child loss), illness, women's issues, as well as infertility, and parenting. Due to my extensive experience in grief work, I’ve partnered with large corporations to provide on-site therapy in the midst of workplace crisis or tragedy. I’ve also worked with nonprofits to discuss burnout and secondary trauma. Lastly, I have a specific interest in providing therapy for other therapists, focusing on the unique challenges associated with being a mental health provider.
