Relationships can be some of the most meaningful—and most challenging—parts of our lives. After more than 30 years in the mental health field, I believe that meaningful change begins when we are willing to look honestly at ourselves, our patterns, and the ways we connect with the people we love.
I specialize in intensive couples and relationship work, helping couples move beyond simply managing conflict to understand what is happening underneath it. Together, we explore patterns of communication, attachment, emotional disconnection, unresolved hurt, intimacy, trust, and the individual experiences each partner brings into the relationship.
My approach is active, direct, compassionate, and highly individualized. I call it encounter-centered transformation: using authentic human connection as a catalyst for deeper awareness and meaningful change.
Couples therapy is not simply about keeping a relationship together at all costs. Sometimes the work is about rebuilding and reconnecting; other times, it is about gaining the clarity and emotional maturity to understand what each person truly wants and needs.
I also work individually with adults who want to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that goes beyond talking about problems and helps create real movement and lasting change.
