I’m Marina Stanton, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist specializing in couples counseling and sex therapy. I help couples who love each other but have gotten stuck in conflict, disconnection, or a sexual relationship that isn’t working for one or both of them.
My style is warm, direct, practical, and sometimes irreverent. I won’t just nod and tell you to communicate better. We’ll look at what’s happening between you, what each of you brings into those moments, and what can help you build a stronger emotional and sexual relationship.
I’m Gottman Method Level 3 Trained and also draw from the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy and my specialized training in sex therapy. I frequently work with LDS and other religious couples, mixed-faith marriages, and couples navigating differences around faith and sexuality.
I’m based in Colorado and offer in-person couples therapy in Centennial, serving the Denver metro area, as well as online therapy in Colorado, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Idaho.
