I am a strong believer that our intimate relationships should not feel "fine". In our sessions, we focus on strengthening the bond and secure attachment with your partner(s), improve intimacy, and change patterns of communication.
When working with couples, I incorporate techniques from the Gottman Method, Relational Life Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Using these treatment modalities, I support couples in identifying their concerns and unmet needs, learn new ways of communicating, develop a new pattern of interacting that feels loving and safe, identify the root of the triggers or buttons that get pushed in the relationship, repair and heal past hurts, and rebuild trust and intimacy. I also support couples who are going through major life transitions, and pre martial counseling.
Using a genuine and authentic therapeutic style, I support clients through holding space for emotional experiences, providing direct feedback, and identifying and pointing out progress and changes you are making along the way.
