I work with women who are used to holding a lot together—often while quietly feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves underneath it all.
Many of my clients come to therapy because they’re tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, striving to get everything “right,” or repeating patterns in relationships that they understand intellectually but haven’t been able to change. Others are carrying experiences from their past, complicated family dynamics, trauma, or questions about faith that continue to shape how they move through the world today.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and active. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest about what’s hard while also becoming curious about the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. We’ll make room for compassion for how you got here while also helping you recognize the choices and agency you have moving forward.
I use approaches including EMDR, IFS, CBT, and trauma-informed therapy, depending on what fits you and what we’re working on. Faith can also be incorporated into therapy when it’s meaningful to you—including space for questions, doubt, church hurt, or a changing relationship with faith.
Ultimately, my hope is that therapy helps you understand yourself more deeply, trust yourself more fully, build healthier relationships, and feel more able to take up the space that’s already yours.
