I especially enjoy working with individuals and couples—including premarital and interfaith partners, and military service members and families—who want to move from surviving to growing. Together we’ll make room for big feelings and practice new ways to communicate, set boundaries, and rebuild trust, confidence, and self-compassion.
I’m Chelsey McManus, a therapist with 17 years of experience. My approach blends practical skills with depth work: CBT and DBT to ease worry and fear; EFT and the Gottman Method to strengthen connection and heal after conflict or infidelity; and EMDR, IFS and attachment-focused care to tend wounds from abandonment, sexual assault, and family-of-origin pain. When meaningful, I can integrate Christian counseling and spirituality. I welcome people of all identities and offer sessions in English.
