My name is Brandy Porche and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist. I am the owner of His Daughter Counseling The Heart, PLLC and my practice is located in McKinney, TX. I help families, couples, and individuals heal from dysfunction, trauma, and clinical symptoms that hinder healthy relationships. This includes infidelity, communication problems, personality differences, unresolved trauma, anger, shame, boundary issues, trust issues, conflict resolution, attachment issues, narcissistic abuse, and more. I help families work through obstacles that hinder them from connecting and living a healthy life mentally and emotionally. I believe that no matter the circumstance, with truth and accountability, healing can begin. My specialties include marriage counseling, pre-marital counseling, and healthy divorce and/or separation counseling. I am a Prepare-Enrich Certified Facilitator and utilize their assessments for all couples.

I’m a Christian Counselor and my unique approach to counseling is effective. I believe in the power and importance of scripture, however, in my counseling sessions, we do not use scripture as a mask. With faith at the center of every session, I provide a safe place for couples and families to unmask and experience true engagement as we get to the core of the issues. My clients and I experience a genuine exchange that aims at the heart of the matter to help couples heal and unite in connectedness. Clients are able to be their authentic selves in my sessions, no matter what that looks like. There is no judgment. Counseling does not work when masks are present. So, my counseling services involve a complete stripping of all pretenses so that we can get to the core and heal.

One of the major lessons I have learned is that a heart connection is required for healing to take place. As humans, through our experiences, we have spent so much time avoiding our hearts because we prefer not to deal with the trauma and pain. Because of that, we carry our unhealed hearts into our marriages and connections and the result is dysfunction. It is my mission to help couples heal so that families are empowered and equipped to foster their own healing on a regular basis. That's it. That's my entire goal. His Daughter Counseling The Heart, PLLC is all about healing families, couples, and individuals from dysfunction and trauma so that we can encounter more healed experiences and connections within our family units.
