Our need for connection is one of the most basic parts of being human. When relationships feel distant, confusing, or painful, it can leave us feeling anxious, rejected, or alone. These struggles can show up in romantic partnerships, family relationships, friendships, parenting relationships, or even the relationship you have with yourself.

Many of the relationship challenges we experience come from old attachment wounds — patterns of connection rooted in our early experiences that continue to shape how we relate to others today. It's through these experiences that we learned how to connect, trust, and communicate with those around us. At our core, we all long to feel loved, seen, and understood. But when our early attachment experiences taught us that closeness might lead to rejection or pain, it can be difficult to trust or feel safe in relationships with others. This reaction is a reflection of how we have learned to protect ourselves – it once helped us survive, but now it may be holding us back.

In therapy, we will gently explore the roots of these patterns and how they show up in your relationships today. Healing attachment wounds is about learning that connection can be safe — that you can love and be loved without fear.

The path to healing can be a difficult one, but you are not alone. If given the opportunity, I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey. Call now for a free 15 minute consultation!
