I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (TX# 62590), Licensed Professional Supervisor, counseling educator, and a pastor. I specialize in individual counseling, couple counseling, and group counseling. I work well with clients who are challenged by low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and relationship problems. I also provide bilingual counseling services to Asians, Asian Americans, and international students. Last but not least, I provide supervisions to Licensed Professional Counseling Interns for obtaining their LPC licensure.
My counseling approach is integrated from several counseling approaches such as Gender Sensitive Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Solution Focused Therapy. I customize treatment goals and plans for my clients based on their individual needs and I adopt the counseling approaches that suit my clients.
I have a passion for seeing others fulfill their lives with meanings, purposes, energy, and happiness through counseling work. I believe each individuals can find power and answers within themselves. I also believe that through empowerment work in counseling. Clients can make changes to embrace their lives wholeheartedly and actualize their lives with the very fulfillments they desire.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my daughter. I make sure that we have quality girl time for traveling, playing, learning other languages, reading stories, and watching our favorite shows.
