I developed an intuitive ability and passion for helping vulnerable populations when I was young. My life journey has been one of deep empathic understanding and love for everything that makes each of us different. When I work with clients, I celebrate their uniqueness and love to support them in achieving a life that feels most aligned. You might say that I'm a "career-whisperer"; one of my unique therapeutic gifts is supporting clients to cultivate fulfilling careers.
With doctorate training in integrative healthcare from the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and the University of Arizona, I have extensive experience working with co-morbid medical and psychological health challenges. I am passionate about working with marginalized communities and bring a trauma-informed approach to my work with LGBTQ+ youth, adults, and families, as well as the HIV+ community. I have always felt an affinity and camaraderie with those on the fringes.
Trained in EMDR, I bring a trauma-focused approach to all of my therapeutic work and have 18+ years of experience working with complex trauma and PTSD. As a mind-body therapist and former Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) co-facilitator at the University of Arizona’s Integrative Health Center, I believe in the benefits of working directly with the body for deeper trauma integration and well-being.
