Shelly is a licensed therapist who practices in the metro Atlanta area. She takes a strength-based, collaborative approach to marriage therapy and believes that we all have strengths that can be leveraged as we do life with our partners. She helps couples learn to like each other again, learn to communicate more effectively, and learn to embrace the process of growing together. She believes that marriage is a distinct relationship that warrants using distinct tools and skills to help couples talk, manage conflict, and rebuild trust. She uses evidence-based assessments and practical exercises coupled with her common sensical but faith-filled insight to ensure that she optimally supports couples in their desire for ‘better’. Having been married for over 20 years, she understands the joy that happy marriage brings but also understands the intentional effort that it takes to make it the best that it can be. Shelly counts it a privilege to be trusted with the unique stories of how people choose each other and engages wholeheartedly to help them build strong families.
