My approach to counseling is person-centered and systems-focused. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. I tend to lean towards Systemic and Strategic modalites as a marriage and family therapist. Specialties include faith-based, addictions, men's issues, women's issues, trauma, culturally-responsive care.
