I approach marriage therapy from a Biblical perspective with God as the focal point. I also acknowledge that we are all a byproduct of our own family-of-origin which creates opportunities (and often challenges) in a marriage related to communication, parenting, finances, and conflict management to name a few. Much of my work involves childhood recollections and complex trauma which tends to be unearthed when working with couples. Everything affects everything, and our pasts are usually a part of that. Most importantly, I believe marriages and strong families are the key to our communities thriving. If families are healthy, I believe we contribute and function as a whole in a very productive and meaningful way.
