I truly believe that YOU are the expert in your life, and no amount of specialized training or skills makes me the “expert” in your journey. I’m a straight-shooter and while being kind and empathetic I will still call you on your crap if that’s what needs to happen. I come into therapy as a real person and I don’t think therapy should be stale and overly clinical. I value being approachable and honest in sessions and in life. I truly believe in the power of therapy and if you put in the time, the effort, and the work during the therapy process, you will absolutely be transformed. I will meet you right where you are at in this moment. I’m willing to invest in you… are you ready to invest in yourself?
I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach with every client. I am trauma-informed and utilize a variety of evidenced based practices and theoretical orientations to best serve her clients. We call that being “eclectic” here in the therapy world.
When I am not seeing clients I am collecting more plants, enjoying the goodness of the Central Valley, planning my next vacation, grabbing a delicious slice of pizza, and cooking a few family recipes here and there.
