About
Do you feel as if your life has a “before” and “after?” Do you feel stuck, like you can’t shake what has happened to you or your relationships? I would love the opportunity to help you make sense of your story and build your inner resources to move forward.
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from John Brown University with degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. I have experience working with teenagers, adults, and couples with trauma/PTSD, relationship issues, grief due to medical diagnosis, and anxiety and mood disorders. I am Latina and can provide sessions in both Spanish and English – I want you to share your story in the language you feel understood in. In order to best help you walk through your journey I like to incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy to make sure I am following your lead on what you need. I have also completed level 1 training of Gottman method couples’ therapy to provide you and your partner with research-based interventions to help your relationship.
My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment as you, you and your partner, or you and your family choose your new story and new path forward. I look forward to the privilege of working with you.
