Melanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy University and Master of Science in Marriage Family Counseling Therapy from Capella University.
Melanie has extensive experience working with families and couples. Melanie began working in the counseling field in 2007 as a paraprofessional assisting in the completion of Comprehensive Child and Family Assessments, WRAP around services, and facilitating Independent Living Workshops with the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services. Her experience with individuals, couples, families, and groups range in settings from community, in-home, classrooms, corporations, to private practice. She specializes in working with couples who are struggling with infidelity, conflict resolution, divorce, and blended families.
Melanie focuses on solution focused, strength based, and person-centered approaches when working with clients, providing a holistic perspective of mind, body, and spirit.
