If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, exhausted by chronic pain or illness, or weighed down by depression, you’re not alone. Maybe ADHD makes everyday tasks feel harder than they should. Maybe communication with your partner has gotten tangled. I honor the many identities and stories you carry, and I offer a steady, nonjudgmental space.

I love working with thoughtful, resourceful people who are ready for change—even if change feels scary. Individuals, couples, and LGBTQ+ couples come to me to build skills, make sense of emotions, and create relationships and routines that actually work in real life.

I’m Madelyn Buxton, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with nearly 4 years of experience and an MA. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, chronic illness, chronic pain, and depression. In our work, I blend practical tools (CBT, DBT, SFBT), values-based support (ACT), emotion-focused connection (EFT), and story work (Narrative Therapy). For couples, I draw from marriage and family therapy to strengthen trust and communication. I offer online sessions across Georgia in English.

If you’re ready to feel more grounded and supported, let’s connect. Reach out to schedule a brief consult so we can see if working together feels like a good fit.

I would like to add that my actual availability for client sessions is Tuesday-Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm but this website would not allow me to put an accurate end time.
