Hi, I’m Laura. I’m passionate about helping couples who are struggling in their relationships find healing and connection. I help couples overcome infidelity and betrayals, disconnection and lack of intimacy, and communication challenges so they can heal from relational hurts, learn to effectively communicate, support one another, and move forward.
I’m an independently licensed marriage and family therapist in the State of Ohio. I have a doctorate degree from The Ohio State University in Human Development and Family Science, with specializations in Couple and Family Therapy and Sexuality Studies. I have completed Level 2 training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy.
I work from an experiential lens and strive to give you an emotional experience in therapy that you may not have outside of it. I take a collaborative and nonjudgemental approach, and know that you are the expert of your life. It’s an honor to walk alongside you on your journey, and it’s important to me that you feel heard and understood. I show up and work hard for my clients, and I expect you to do the same. Most of the growth of therapy happens while you’re living your real life. I’m here to give you the tools and strategies you need to meet your goals.
