I assist couples by helping them step back and view their own relationship dynamic in a way that brings about their true voice and intentions in the moments of anger, blame, disconnection and withdrawal. In this way, each partner can begin to hear and experience one another in a way that builds intimacy, connection and hope.
My approach to counseling comes from a place of true curiosity and understanding, not judgment or shame. I am here to remind couples that we all do things for a reason, and helping them uncover and understand the source of these motivations can be the key to breaking negative cycles.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which is considered the gold standard in marriage counseling. When working with couples and individuals, I am unwavering in my commitment to remain present, supportive, open, and understanding.
