My approach is empathic and caring and of a cognitive behavioral orientation. I will help you identify and develop the skills and insights you need to experience success over your problems and to have more satisfaction in your life and relationships.
I also use an integrative approach when working with my clients. I meet clients where they are in their process of change and utilizes approaches that will best fit the client's learning style, while challenging my clients to develop new skills and insights. My fundamental practice orientation is cognitive behavioral with an infusion of mindfulness and psychodynamic interventions that augment my work with clients.
Over the course of my professional career, I've added training and experience in related helping services to my expertise. These include the provision of clinical supervision, divorce mediation services and divorce mediation training for psychotherapists and counselors.
