Central to my work with couples is supporting each individual to be the healthiest that they can be on their own so that as a couple they are stronger together. Fundamental to a healthy coupleship is friendship, respect, and vulnerability, which can only exist in the context of
trust. Utilizing the findings of John Gottman's 40 years plus worth of ongoing research, practices of mindfulness and shame-resilience, I work with couples to identify what's not working, where their relationship lost its way, and coach them to the development of new relational habits that nurture effection, high functioning communication and intimate connection, all while supporting their own self-respect and individual growth.
