I am Family Therapist trained in
systemic, brief therapy models with experience in individual and family therapy, as well as play therapy, social skills groups and parent training. Throughout life, we exist in a
number of relationships that directly and indirectly impact our well-being. Our relationships with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors influence and create our
individual and unique experiences. My role as a systemic thinker or relationship expert is to help clients navigate their journey through perturbations and reduction of anxiety surrounding various phenomena. have worked extensively throughout the years with persons with mental health
challenges; dual diagnosis, persons returning from wars and other social related challenges. In addition, I've worked with adults struggling with mental health issues. I
am experienced in working with children ages three and above in child therapy through play and behavioral interventions. I use a collaborative approach; drawing on family and language systems models to inform treatment with families/individuals in helping them address the challenges of life. The family, as a system, is the client and inciting change in one area eventually trickles down to all the parts.
