I usually help people by helping them understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also provide tools and interventions that can be used in one's life to experience relief from negative feelings and thoughts and thus reduce patterns that do not serve them well. I also use interventions that help individuals increase emotional awareness and learn emotion regulation so that individuals can make decisions that serve them well.
I take a collaborative, yet warm approach with you and your partner and will dig deeper into the goals you want to work toward and identify short-term objectives to get you one step closer to your goals. Once goals are set, we can then move forward with a plan that will address the issues at hand.
