I am a professional family mediator, with practices in New York and Illinois. I work with couples who want to stay married and with couples who are not sure and with couples who have decided to separate. I take a different approach than a therapist, in that my focus is on the present and future. At the root of a dispute or conflict between two spouses or family members, this is the question I ask: "What do you want to do about where you are at?" In answering this question, I want to help you discuss, in a safe and comfortable environment, how to move forward in a way that meets expectations and meets the underlying interests of all involved.

I am also a Conflict Coach, and in that capacity, I can work one on one with a spouse who is in a troubled relationship about understanding the conflict through the lenses of identity, emotions and power.
