The goal in marriage that I use is that of mutual interdependence. Many couples complained that they do not communicate well. Therefore, we train couples in communication skills including paraphrasing and expression skills. Of course we only start treatment after a thorough assessment using testst for couple communication and the assessment of their perception or perceptions of the other.
