Cathy is a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Executive Director of Mindful Solutions, LLC. She received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University where she obtained comprehensive clinical training at The Family Institute's Bette D. Harris Family and Child Clinic as well as in the Community Program working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. She is a National Clinical Fellow member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Cathy was selected to be a Teaching Assistant for the renowned Marriage 101 class at Northwestern University. The class has been widely discussed and has received international recognition due to its relevance and popularity. Cathy is in the process of becoming an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and is currently supervising Therapists-in-Training at The Family Institute at Northwestern University.

Cathy provides a nonjudgmental and safe therapeutic environment for her clients and she values client-therapist alliance above anything else. Cathy has a direct yet empathetic therapy style, collaborating with her clients to help them reach their goals.

Cathy received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and in Psychology at Hope College.
