I am trained in the most successful and well researched couple therapy approach, EFT, Emotionally Focused Therapy. The 17 outcome studies on EFT for couples show that 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery and about 90% show significant improvement. FMRI studies show a decrease in pain in couples who do emotionally focused couple therapy. I am the second Certified EFT therapist in Brooklyn, a process that took me four years. I am not in any networks but I file claims for clients who want me to do that. Keep in mind EFT is short term, not long term therapy. To get a good understanding of EFT I recommend reading the best selling book Hold Me Tight by Dr. Susan Johnson.
