I have a MS in Exercise Physiology and a MS in Clinical Psychology. I enjoy the approach of merging the physical and mental health into wellness. I have focused on specializing my experience and education in order to find success in working with young children, parents, male adolescents, couples, and other individuals with relational events involved in the goals of treatment. When working with couples, I enjoy a compliment of Imago, Gottman, and EFT therapy techniques. Communication and understanding is at the heart of my approach to working with all relationships.
About half of my clients meet at either our San Jose or Santa Clara office space for Nugent Family Counseling. The other half of my clientele work with me over Zoom telehealth. There has not appeared to be any drawbacks in working with couples over telehealth.
