Barbara Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Masters Addiction Counselor, and a Licensed Social Worker who provides individual, family, and couples therapy. Her focus is working with children, adolescents, adults, seniors and couples. she utilizes a Strength based philosophy to empower her clients to collaboratively find solutions to their challenges while focusing on the present and acknowledging their history. She has over thirty years' experience as a professional goal setter working with individuals and families in various settings including; alternative schools, juvenile facilities, child welfare systems, community counseling centers and community colleges. She has worked with various issues such as trauma, depression, grief and loss, bipolar, anxiety, chemical dependency, oppositional defiant behavior, marital issues and educational issues. Her passion is helping others discover how to have a meaningful and healthy relationship.
