Anna is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria and is currently completing a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) at California Southern University. She has over eight years of clinical experience. She is trauma-informed and integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities in her work with couples, drawing on the science of attachment, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method of Couple’s Counselling, as well as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal/Relational Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and ADHD Coaching, among others. This integrative approach allows her to effectively address individual concerns which might emerge during couple’s counselling and interfere with relational connection. Anna’s emphasis on evidence-based practices allows her to provide scientific information about the underlying origins of presenting concerns, which allows clients to understand themselves in a more empowered, compassionate manner. Her mission is to give you the insights and skills you need to see a meaningful shift in your life as quickly as possible. Above all, Anna’s work is inspired by the science of neuroplasticity and the potential it holds for learning and healing in us all.
