I am a NYS Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 25+ years of experience providing individual and couples therapy. I use Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Couples' Therapy, The Gottman Model, Brent Atkinson's Psychobiology of Couples' Communication and Imago Therapy. I provide treatment in the following areas: couples communication skills, adjustment to marriage, marital stress, emotional and physical intimacy, blended families and in law interactions, I also provide premarital counseling and treatment for fear of commitment to marriage.
I derive tremendous satisfaction from seeing people grow and helping marriages and relationships thrive. I enjoy working with all kinds of people with a wide variety of issues and backgrounds. I particularly enjoy working with artistically creative people and spiritually sensitive individuals.
