Every couple has their own problems and ideas about how couple therapy can help them. I work with couples to help them reach their goals, by giving them tools they can master on their own. I was trained in Gottman therapy, Imago and numeroud other couple and family modalities.
My aim for each couple is to help each other understand the other person's perspective. It is to give them an idea of what can be worked on and what are some things that may never change. Our experiences throughout childhood and adulthood may also intercept with being a great partner. Helping couples understand this will enable them to move towards a different understanding of each other.
