Marriage can be one of the greatest joys of life- and it takes work! Communcation, conflict, and the multiple demands of kids, parents, work and fiances can cause even the closest of couples to get off track.
Myaproach to mariage counseing is informed by several therapies including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Imago Therapy and the Gottman Method. I help couples learn how to identify and express their needs and feelings and then to build trust through deeply listening to one another. Importantly, I share practical skills within our sessions and encourage couples to actively practice between sessions.
